My prayer
It’s getting harder to say
What happens today
I know you’re a saint
Can you tell me why you gave us this world we taint
You always taught us to pray
Sometimes we obey
What kind of thing do we gain
Each time you take a look at what we’ve done you’re to faint
And we cry as sinners you’ve built us
Try to mend us stop our cussed
Cries spread new light for our bust
Eyes how would you like us to trust you
Another forgotten day
Tomorrow we’ll pay
I know you’re a saint
Can you tell me why you gave us this world we taint
And we cry as sinners you’ve built us
Try to mend us stop our cussed
Cries spread new light for our bust
Eyes how would you like us to trust you
There are lots of different faith
Faith can rule our fate
What kind of thing do we gain
Each time you take a look at what we’ve done you’re to faint
And we cry as sinners you’ve built us
Try to mend us stop our cussed
Cries spread new light for our bust
Eyes how would you like us to trust you
And who will help us when we’ve spoilt all our seas
And who will help us when we’ve cut all our trees
And who will help us when we’ve burnt all our fields
And who will help us when we’ve nothing left but needs
And no world to apply them to
