Lying on the sun
Was feeling kind of low
Drowning in alcohol
While the mysteries of our times
Are thick like a foggy night
Walls of an enormous grave
Like a castle made of sand
Floating in the air
Chained to a wind of despair
I've wasted my time searching where she's gone
But mother was found lying on the sun
I told her she'd burn but she didn't ever listen
Mother was found lying on the sun
Staring at our desperate minds
Falling down with a worn-out world
thinking maybe this complex grind
Will make me king with a cardboard sword
Been drinking all the seas
Felt so fluid, stomack hurts
I choke on a little fish
Felt so light 'till they pull me down
Walls of an enormous grave
Like a castle made of sand
Floating in the air
Chained to a wind of despair
I've wasted my time searching where she's gone
But mother was found lying on the sun
I told her she'd burn but she didn't ever listen
Mother was found lying on the sun
Staring at our desperate minds
Falling down with a worn-out world
thinking maybe this complex grind
Will make me king with a cardboard sword
I've wasted my time searching where she's gone
But mother was found lying on the sun
I told her she'd burn but she didn't ever listen
Mother was found lying on the sun
Dead
